Heat Tracing Loading Arm

Description

Top loading arm with heater is used for loading trucks and trains high viscosity medium such as crude oil, residual oil and asphalt. Heat tracing loading arms are divided into three kinds: hot steam tracing loading arm, heat transfer oil tracing loading arm and electric heat tracing loading arm.

Bitumen loading arm with heat tracing is easily installed on site. High temperature bearing grease ensures longevity. Asphalt loading arm is safe and efficient bitumen loading.

1) Steam tracing loading arm: 2" steam boiler pipe. Conductive steam-generated heat-transfer pass through pipe into loading process for temperatures up to 130℃. Bitumen loading arm is available with steam tracing or fully jacketed. Steam jacketed loading arms need steam jacketing to maintain Bitumen temperature. Steam traced loading arms is better than fully-jacketed loading arms, it is less costly and lighter weight, it can provides substantially more heating capacity and reliability.

2) Hot oil Jacketed loading arm：Envelopes core pipe with outer pipe,Conductive steam-generated heat-transfer pass through wall into loading process for temperatures above130℃. Heat jacketed tracing top loading arm is widely used in asphalt.

3) Electric heat tracing loading arm: Power supply 220V, 50Hz/60Hz is available. Insulation package is available.Insulation package is completely removable, reusable and safe. Heated arms may be potential burn hazard to the operators. Insulation package can protect the operators and avoid the burn. Loading arm with heater is safer, cleaner and faster operation for Bitumen.
